Try our online calculator, or plan for yourself using the following method:

  1. Determine the possible mounting height h (distance from the radiant panel to the floor).
  2. The maximum distance of a strip from the wall may be h / 2.
  3. The maximum distance between two bands may be h.
  4. The length of the strips should be max. room length minus 1 m, so that you have 50 cm on both sides. You need this for the connections and of course also for the assembly.
  5. Determine the planned heat output using the technical data of the KSP to go® radiant panels and select a panel width. If the heat output is not sufficient with the largest width, increase the number of strips.

The simplest and most economical solution is to install a thermostatic valve on the return flow of each strip. For a more comfortable and more precise control, use a thermostatic valve with a remote sensor. In the long- term the most economical and comfortable option is an automatic control valve with an actuator on the return flow, connected with a radiation sensor and a thermostat. This is the most expensive solution, but it is highly recommended for larger installations.

For longer strips, we recommend that you add a ball valve as a shut-off valve in the flow.

You can also compare the life span of our KSP to go® radiant panels with standard wall radiators. A 30 to 40 years long lifespan is rather the rule than the exception. That is also the reason for a 10-year warranty on KSP to go® radiant panels.

Yes, KSP to go® radiant panels are also the right choice for partial surface heating. Arranged above the working areas, e.g. the picking tables in a warehouse, you offer the people working there a pleasant feeling of comfort and, in combination with the LED lighting set, also a meaningful, glare-free illumination of the workplace.

Since no heated air is mechanically moved, there is virtually no air or dust swirling. For this reason, KSP to go® radiant panels are the first choice for heating of exhibition halls, showrooms and dust-intensive workstations, such as carpentry workshops, metalworkings, etc.

Can you react quickly to changing weather conditions with radiant panels?

The surfaces of a room equipped with KSP to go® radiant panels heat up approx. within 45 minutes. Because of the constructional design with light materials it is not necessary to heat up large masses and you avoid the known inertia behaviour of floor heating systems or concrete core. You will have a responsive heating system, which can be controlled in a demand-oriented manner.

Another positive aspect to be considered: when e.g. in storage halls or car garages the doors are opened, the warmed air volume will escape if there are no door air curtain systems. This is the case with all heating systems, but only when a ceiling heating system is used, you are able to notice the impact energy after closing the gates, which can be immediately felt as heat.
